Macworld/iWorld is bringing the beat back! Our DJ competition, RISE, will once again be taking place Thursday, January 31, 2013 at Macworld/iWorld 2013 at the Moscone Center in San Francisco.

RISE will be a selected collection of three electronic music DJ finalists competing in front of a live audience at Macworld/iWorld. The three DJ finalists will each have a 20 minute set of which to perform their craft. Live audience participation and panel of esteemed judges – Dani Deahl, GEO-D, and Alex Sibley – will select the winner immediately at the end of the battle. And NEW this year – the RISE winner will perform as part of the musical line-up of the Macworld/iWorld opening night party, BLAST, happening later that night at the Mezzanine in San Francisco!
